Meghan is an experienced and highly qualified therapist with years of experience working with children, young people, and adults. She is an Art Psychotherapist offering 1-1, group, and dyadic work (parent/child). Meghan specialises in working with people who have experienced trauma (including: processing experiences /Flashbacks / Somatic responses / Social isolation / Re-building relationships / Understanding trauma responses and the brain), PTSD, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, loss, self-harm, suicidal ideation, depression and anxiety. Meghan believes that empathy, understanding, and a safe space are key to the therapeutic journey. Having a safe environment to express, communicate, and reflect on their experiences, thoughts, and feelings, Meghan offers clients the space to be listened to and understood. Meghan believes in the importance of psychoeducation to support clients in understanding their mental health and learn how to build coping strategies and support themselves outside of sessions.
