Adult female - "Catherine has compassionately and professionally led me through the EMDR process, guiding and supporting me empathetically along the way. Thanks to Catherine, I have been able to process the trauma I’ve suffered and to start to live a life with purpose and direction."
Adult female - "Wise and insightful, kind and caring, Catherine helped me navigate the most difficult of times, arming me with coping strategies and self-compassion. For anyone who is struggling, I cannot stress enough how wonderful Catherine is. She truly is a guiding star through any darkness"
Adult female "I’ve had many experiences with therapy, some more positive than others, and unfortunately I’ve a few particularly negative ones under my belt. Choosing a therapist to suit my needs has always felt tricky, and I’ve always struggled to find the ‘right one’. And then I met Catherine. I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough. Putting into words how she has already helped me on my healing journey doesn’t do her justice. She has honestly been the guiding light I have been searching for, for so long. I’ve had some awful experiences with therapists that have affected me and made me doubt this path at times, however I can say, hand on heart, that I’ve found Catherine to be nothing but a genuine, caring therapist with the best intentions for myself as a client. She practices with integrity and authenticity, and makes me feel really comfortable. Some of the most painful experiences I’ve had she has made me see in another aspect and helped me pick them apart to make sense of them. She is so knowledgeable and ACTUALLY EXPLAINS the science and how the mind works (as a client struggling this is actually extremely helpful and an important element of the process), why it is that I’m thinking that way and HELPS to work WITH me in overcoming the issues so I can move forward with my life. I’m currently undergoing EMDR therapy with her which I’ve found to be really wonderful so far. We have an amazing client/therapist relationship, she is so down to earth and approachable, I trust her and she actually makes me laugh during sessions and makes me feel grounded and that it’s ok to feel the way I do. I don’t feel alienated anymore, I have a better acceptance and understanding of myself than I did before I walked through her door, and that’s all thanks to her. I can’t believe how much she’s changed my life already in the space of 8 months, she really is an incredible person. Her practice is cosy and comfortable, she has many things for clients to hold if they need to for reassurance (I’ve found an amazing fidget tool thanks to her!), blankets, hot water bottles, tea, books…she’s really thought about what clients may need, her attention to detail is really special. So for anyone wondering if they should reach out to Catherine, please do so, she really is like an angel for anyone who is struggling. Thank you Catherine."
Adult female "I had the most positive and wonderful experience during my therapy sessions with Catherine and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Catherine is so welcoming and supportive and explains everything so well. Her professionalism at every stage, combined with her warmth and genuine nature meant that the therapy sessions with Catherine have changed my life, and that is not an exaggeration. She works at your pace and is so compassionate you are able to talk to her so openly without any fear of judgement. I was sceptical about whether EMDR therapy would really work and it really does work! I had experienced a range of traumatic events that had affected my life for a fair few years and by going through the EMDR process with Catherine, I was able to process them effectively in a way I never thought I'd be able to. Catherine takes the time at every stage of the session to ensure that you are ok and really makes sure that you have processed everything. She has a way of explaining things that really helps you understand yourself better and the techniques she suggested will stay with me forever and are so helpful in every day life. I now live my life free from the cloud that once hung over me and that is all down to the work I have done with Catherine and her guidance, I honestly can't thank her enough. Catherine has created a really safe space with comfortable furnishings and lovely art on the walls. She provides a nice drink as you come in and the space feels homely and welcoming. If you are considering therapy then definitely book in with Catherine, you will have the best experience and life changing results."
Parent and teen ; "Catherine is very supportive and empathetic person. I was sceptical to the idea of therapy at first, however, with Catherine's professional and compassionate attitude, therapy became one of the best decisions I had made in order to help my daughter . Her expertise and knowledge was outstanding, as was her ability to fully understand my daughter's anxieties and needs. She developed a very suitable therapy for her, which involved facilitating her understanding towards her insecurities and how to manage her thoughts. A truly fantastic experience, highly recommended." Adult Female: " I’m honestly unsure of how long i attended therapy with catherine, by the end of our journey together i felt like i had known her a lot longer than i probably had i felt so at ease. All because catherine is the kindest, genuine, caring person i’ve ever had the privilege to share my issues with. we dealt with some rather traumatic times and i was in full control of what i wanted to talk about in our sessions there was no pressure to “fix” myself. ive come away, more self aware and with safe strategies to care for myself. I’m really glad i decided to go on my journey with recovery with catherine. i’m genuinely saddened that we cannot be friends outside of our “therapy relationship “ but i understand and ive come to terms with that in my own time. i guess what’s why it’s probably taken a couple of months to do my review haha. so thank you catherine, your support and encouragement was been amazing. Anyone would be lucky to have you as their therapist." Adult Male: "I was sceptical at first about how effective therapy would be for me but it's perhaps one of the best things I've ever done. It has helped me work through a lot of issues, some I wasn't fully aware of until I began the process. Catherine is wonderful at what she does, providing a compassionate and kind environment to discuss any issues judgement free. I would whole heartedly recommend her to anyone who asked and have actively told my friends about how good the service she provides is. If you have any inkling that therapy might work for you I'd urge you to go for it and you couldn't ask for a finer practitioner than Catherine."
Adult Female: "Amazing practice. Catherine is so understanding and supportive and really does do the extra work to help. Couldn’t recommend her enough."
Parent and Teen: "Our teenage daughter has suffered with anxiety and panic attacks. Catherine has provided support, empathy and advice to help our daughter talk through the possible causes of her symptoms and to develop long-term personal life skills to help self-manage her feelings and symptoms. Catherine's sessions have also helped improve our daughter's self-esteem and self-worth, with reflections within therapy sessions supporting whole family discussions outside of therapy sessions."
Parent and young daughter: "Catherine is very supportive and empathetic person. Catherine's approach has always been calming and therapeutic. As a therapeutic mental health teacher, Art therapy plays a vital role as a specialist intervention approach, to help children reach out and receive support. Catherine is an amazing therapist who is highly supportive and dedicated to her clients."

Compassionate Partner Testimony
"Carolyn has been working with our school for over a year, providing bespoke individual 1-1 sessions of psychotherapy. Our students all have a diagnosis of autism and have additional complex mental health needs. Carolyn puts considerable thought into developing trusting relationships with students, ensuring students feel safe and comfortable when working with her. Carolyn’s work makes a clear difference to our young people and gives them time to express themselves in a relaxed way, using the communication methods that work for them, so that they feel able to discuss their thoughts and feelings. Carolyn is also very clear about confidentiality and safeguarding and will liaise, as appropriate, with key members of the senior leadership team. Carolyn also provides support recommendations for staff who work with the young people so they can continue the therapeutic approach during school time. Head of School, Independent specialist school."
