Ck Therapy ; thoughtful reflections.
We truly resonate with the quote, “Be where your feet are.” It’s a powerful reminder to stay grounded in the present moment and embrace mindfulness. Life can often feel overwhelming, and we understand that there are times when you just want to escape. In those moments, it’s important to acknowledge how challenging it can be to remain present. Mindfulness, however, offers a different approach. Instead of pushing away difficult emotions or distractions, it invites us to fully experience them and, with gentle awareness, let them pass. Practicing mindfulness helps us find peace even in the toughest moments, guiding us to stay connected and aware rather than seeking an escape. In therapy we often try and create a toolkit a handful of resources you can use in or outside of the therapy room when things get overwhelming to ground you. Learning and practicing mindfulness is one of those tools.
