CK Therapy ; Thoughtful reflections and prompts.
Not Every Transition Has to Be Scary As autumn arrives, we’re reminded that change doesn’t always have to feel overwhelming. The leaves shift, the air cools, and life gently slows down. In therapy, we often talk about transitions; new jobs, new school. endings, beginnings, or healing journeys. It’s natural to feel fear in change, but not all transitions are painful. Some, like autumn, can be grounding, restorative, and beautiful. Therapy can be a space to explore how to hold change with curiosity and experience it as safe enough rather than fear and to notice where growth is possible, even in endings. Would you like to explore your own experience of transitions with one of our therapists? We might gently ask questions like: 1. Have you given yourself permission to slow down? 2. What endings in your life feel “good enough”? 3. Which transitions are you most curious about right now? 4. How do you usually respond to change - - with resistance, curiosity, or something else? 5. What would it look like to welcome this season of your life, even with its uncertainties? 6. What routines or rituals help you feel grounded when things shift? 7. What parts are you ready to let go of? Therapy can offer a safe space to pause, reflect, and find meaning in life’s changes, big or small. “Autumn is not an end. It is the great letting go... Trees shed not out of grief, but out of trust-believing in the return of spring. I wonder, can we learn to do the same? To release what no longer serves us, to make space for stillness, and let the soul rest?” Get in touch to be curious about your experiences with transitions. www.ckpsychotherapy.co.uk Link in bio #transitions #seasons #autumn #firstdayofautumn #psychotherapy #curiousity #emdr #arttherapy #seasonalchanges #liecestershire #ashbydelazouch
