Lisa is a qualified Psychotherapist/Counsellor who has completed five years of training, including a BSc (Hons) degree with the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute. She works with clients aged
16 +.
Lisa’s approach is characterized by warmth and understanding, creating a safe space for clients. She integrates knowledge and skills from the person-centred approach, gestalt, attachment theory, and
other relational and developmental approaches, always keeping the client’s best interests at the heart of her work.
Some of the difficulties Lisa has experience supporting are:
Anxiety, Abandonment/Loss, Identity, Low self-esteem/negative self-talk, Relationship difficulties, Domestic Abuse (emotional, sexual, parental), Anger, Generational Trauma, Shame, Overwhelm.
Lisa actively engages in regular clinical supervision and professional development in line with the ethical framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She holds a
current enhanced DBS alongside insurance and is an individual member of the BACP.
Sessions with Lisa are online or face to face on Fridays.
Sessions with Lisa are £60 for 50 mins.
